Our "New" Reality

Left is right.

Up is down.

Over is under.

East is west.

No, it's not "Opposite Day" in Middle School.  It's not a "Month of Sundays", either.

It IS, however, what's rattling around inside President Donald Jessica Trump's big, hollow, head.

And the entire planet is having to suffer through it.

Why?  The answer's very simple, because, well, it originates with our Simpleton-In-Chief Donald Jessica Trump:  THAT'S HOW I DEMAND THINGS TO BE.  PERIOD.  Doesn't matter that I'm 74 years old.  My health is failing.  I eat anything around that doesn't move, but is still alive. None of that matters.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD!

Down the Rabbit Hole,

...and into the Upside Down.

Donnie, Time To Pull Up Your "Big Boy" Panties

CNN anchor Jake Tapper on Saturday evening had a simple message for President Donald Trump: Grow up.

“He’s not a seven-year-old kid who lost an ice-skating competition,” Tapper said of Trump during a panel discussion of the president’s refusal to concede the election and repeatedly allege—without evidence—widespread voter fraud and an effort to “steal” the election from him.

“He is a 74-year-old president of the United States and he lost re-election, and you know what? That’s OK. That happens,” the CNN anchor continued. “His emotional needs, frankly, are irrelevant.”

Tapper concluded: “I don’t think we need to bend over backwards and pretend that the country moving on and MAGA nation moving on depends upon what Joe Biden does, like Joe Biden is going to do what he can, and if a chunk of the leaders of the Republican Party want to drag the nation down with them, that’s up to them. He’s going to be governing and they can even join him or get out of the way.”

The truth hurts.  It’s messy.  It’s painful.  But, it’s the truth and not fake news, a conspiracy theory, or alternative facts.

Truth matters.  Honesty matters.  Trump, however, no longer matters. He had his chance, his opportunity to “Make America Great Again”.

NEWS FLASH:  It was already great long before you came along, Fatty McOrangeface.

While we’re here, another question:

Why does literally everything have to be a conspiracy theory?  Seriously. Why?

Why can’t it just be that the people of the United States overwhelmingly have spoken and although you got  72,649,691 votes to Biden’s  77,966,468 votes (306 to 232 Electoral votes), why can’t that simply mean that Donald Trump lost an election?

Why does it have to be election fraud and a stolen election?

The facts and numbers simply don’t lie… much like Trump does, repeatedly.

These repeated attacks and conspiracy theories are incredibly dangerous, not to mention how they entitle and embolden his supporters.  That’s a very bad thing.

Thankfully, we have in place law enforcement officers and laws, which people, ALL people (supporters or not) must abide by.

Now, if you are questioning if that's a real quote from Abraham Lincoln, or if the internet even existed in 1865, then you seriously, immediately need to do more, actual research into YOUR news sources.  Of course, there was no internet in 1865.  Modern computers weren't even invented until the 1940s, almost 80 years after Lincoln was alive.

Please, PLEASE, pay attention to your news sources because Q-Anon and broadcast news sources like Fox News, One American Network (OAN) and NewsMax pedal and openly distribute questionable, false, dangerous lies, oh and conspiracy theories.

That's a very bad thing.

Oh, and one last thing.  You know what isn't fake news?  The multiple lawsuits awaiting the 74-year-old toddler in Depends in New York state and Florida after January 20, 2021.  Those are all very real, and include prison time as a potential sentence.

"What his followers will see, once he is out of office, is that there were a lengthy string of losses, losses, losses and that in effect is going to be part of his legacy when we look back at this."

Losing a failed re-election bid should be the least of his concerns right now.

Nobody Likes Me, Everybody Hates Me

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
Think I’ll go eat worms!
Long thin slimy ones,
Short fat fuzzy ones,
Ooey gooey gooey gooey worms!

Down goes the first one, down goes the second one,
Oh how they wiggle and squirm!
Up comes the first one, up comes the second one,
Ooey gooey gooey gooey worms!

I bite off the heads, and suck out the juice,
And throw the skins away!
Nobody knows how fat I grow,
On worms three times a day!

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
Think I’ll go eat worms!
Long thin slimy ones,
Short fat fuzzy ones,
Ooey gooey gooey gooey worms!

(That’s how I remember it, but there are tons of variations of it available online!)

--------------------------------------------

It’s a fun little children’s song, one that I used to teach preschoolers a bazillion years ago in the 1980s.

Coincidentally, it’s also a tune that the sad, bloating, orange white man in the White House is singing a lot lately in regards to his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic here in the United States and its effects around the world.

This from CNN:  "Nobody likes me," he said, confounded at how his administration's health experts could be receiving accolades while he is accused of ignoring and denying the raging public health crisis.

"It can only be my personality," Trump said, "that's all."

And do you think that even for a second there was any self reflection?  Of course not.

Far from a mere difference of "personality," the examples of "nobody liking" Trump this week suggested a President actively isolating himself in his own bubble of conspiracy theories and questionable science, with fewer and fewer people willing to step inside to join him.

Speaking Thursday, July 30, 2020, Trump appeared resigned to the fact that coronavirus case counts will continue spiking, and said it's probably not anyone's fault, least of all his.

"That's just the way it is," he said.

Sure.  Why should he take any responsibility for it?  It was ALL Obama’s fault.  And ALL China’s fault.  And ALL those liberal, do-nothing Democrat’s fault.  Darn them-there-people.

Failing in the national and local polls across the board, he even floating the idea of delaying the November 3rd election in order to avoid, “… wide spread voter fraud and potentially counterfeit ballots.  Millions and millions of them. Who’s signing them?  Where are they coming from?”  Un-effing-believable.

One of the major problems with that strategy, if you can call it that, is that most Republicans on the ballot this year are pushing for vote-by-mail or absentee ballots amid the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.  That conspiracy theory is putting his own constituents, other Republicans, in a very precarious position to have to distance themselves from him for the first time in his presidency.  So, of course, it’s no wonder he feels all alone.  Poor, poor, pudgy, orange, gooey Donald.  Awww.

It’s like, “Oops!

Trump’s threatened to shut down Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and even banning TikTok from the U.S.  Personally, he could shutdown Twitter but then he’d have to rely on broadcast television news coverage, live, which he regularly refers to as “Fake News.

He’s more concerned about his TV ratings than stepping-up, leading and actually taking a real, fact-based stance against Covid-19.

Again, “Oops!”                       Or, maybe, “D’Oh!!!

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
Think I’ll go eat worms!
Long thin slimy ones,
Short fat fuzzy ones,
Ooey gooey gooey gooey worms!

...and then there's this:
...because it's ALL ABOUT keeping his Royal Orange Fatness happy.

Journalists & Reporters

It’s kind of astonishing and incredible that one man on the planet with the most important and powerful job on the planet gets to decide what’s real and what’s not in regards to the news.
Oh, and make no mistake, He drives the news cycle, and has since shortly before the 2016 elections here.
It didn’t start with the Obama “birther” b.s., but right around that time.  Yes, because He’s racist. And nothing about being "the least racist person you'll ever meet."  Just racist.
In an interview with the New York Times, February 2019: President Trump takes credit for popularizing the term “fake news.”
But the consequences? Not his concern.
In lengthy and at times contradictory remarks on Thursday about the news media — which he deemed “important” and “beautiful,” but also “so bad” and “unfair” — Mr. Trump called himself “a victim” of unfair coverage and declined to accept responsibility for a rise in threats against journalists since he took office.

“I do notice that people are declaring more and more fake news, where they go, ‘Fake news!’” the president said during an Oval Office interview with The New York Times. “I even see it in other countries. I don’t necessarily attribute that to me. I think I can attribute the term to me. I think I was the one that started using it, I would say.”

In an unusual arrangement, the publisher of The Times, A. G. Sulzberger, joined two of the paper’s White House correspondents in conducting Thursday’s interview, and he took the lead in questioning the president about his attacks on the press.

When Mr. Sulzberger said foreign leaders were increasingly using the term “fake news” to justify suppressing independent scrutiny, Mr. Trump replied: “I don’t like that. I mean I don’t like that.”
But, in a common pattern whenever the president speaks about the press, Mr. Trump quickly refocused on his personal grievances. “I do think it’s very bad for a country when the news is not accurately portrayed,” he said. “I really do. And I do believe I’m a victim of that, honestly.”

Those are reporters from inside of Iran, the same country that he just had the military bomb, in order to “take out a really bad guy”, i.e., Qasem Soleimani.
So, basically, Trump is perfectly okay calling attention to keeping reporters in other countries safe, and not here inside of the United States.
Seems kinda messed up, right?  Let me help you out here, because I know you’re struggling with the correct response:         YES.

**Please note the time of that tweet.  That’s 5:38 AM, Eastern Standard Time, late Sunday night/early Monday morning.**  Most of us are still fast asleep at that hour.
and now onto something terrifying.

Trump is clearly and deliberately calling news, journalists and reporters, The Fake News simply because He doesn’t like it.  Rather than focus on his job, again, as the most important job on the planet, and he’s focusing on stories he doesn’t like.
He’s attacked actors, foreign officials, law enforcement agencies (at all levels), the military, and on and on, again simply because He doesn’t like those stories.  Nothing about true/false, only because He doesn’t like them.
Journalists around the world have been murdered because of Trump’s divisive rhetoric.  And, YES, this is ALL ON HIM.  Why?  Because he flat-out, boldly and openly refuses to stop his claim of Fake News, and Enemy Of The People.
ENEMYLet that sink in for a moment. No, he doesn’t pull back, but rather doubles-down, digs in his heels.
We know, and have for some time now, how delicate, vain and illiterate Donald Trump is.  He wears his feeling on his sleeve.  Personally, I think he’s got ADHD, too, if only because he’s incapable of focusing on anything of consequence for any amount of time.

We know he’s racist.  We know he’s homophobic.  We know he’s xenophobic.  We know he’s (fill-in-the-blank with anything He says is “wrong” with the U.S. or the world at large)
This tweet seems to sum up things best in Trump’s Twitter-verse:
MSM = Main Stream Media

It’s A Very Simple Question

It’s a very simple question:

“Do you really want 4 more years of racism, xenophobia, misogyny, homophobia, vanity, arrogance, poor air and water quality, the threat of nuclear war, Twitter rants, 'protecting' Trump, fear, white supremacy/nationists, Fox News and commentators, denigrating veterans, draft-dodger, huge permanent tax cuts/breaks for billionaires and multi-millionaires, lies, 'Fake News', I.C.E. the way in which it's currently running, 'Be Best' (which is a huge joke in and of itself), Ivanka, Jared, Donny Jr., Eric and Melania?"

Knowing who he is and ALL that he stands for,
do you really want 4 more years of that?
