You’ve seen these commercials online or on TV. Daily Harvest. www.DailyHarvest.com/

The
actress makes a random comment about how, “I never had time for breakfast until
I found/discovered Daily Harvest.” |
Okay, let’s go with
that. She’s clearly in her late 20s to
mid-30s, millennial likely, and just after this shot, she’s seen with her
smartphone texting someone. Here’s a
thought: Put DOWN your phone, crack open
a couple of eggs and make some toast.
Pretty sure even you can handle that.
But maybe not. Her phone is
probably just TOO important to set on the counter for 15 minutes. THAT’S how important she is.

Oh look! Now he can be a lazy millennial, too! Because
we all KNOW, millennials can ONLY eat food from boxes delivered directly to
them at home. Otherwise, it’s poison,
right?
|
|
And here she is WITH her
breakfast smoothie in hand. NOW she’s ready to face the day. Because, again, she NEVER had time for a
regular, sit-down meal, in this case breakfast, BEFORE she found Daily Harvest! |
|
A few different, MUST-HAVE,
varieties of Daily Harvest breakfasts… delivered TO YOUR HOME, so you can eat
like a VERY BUSY millennial, too! |
**Note: Now, is this really about Daily Harvest? Of course not. And yes, LOTS of sarcasm here. I have no idea how they taste, how much they
cost, the process of making these from the items enclosed in each package… none
of that. I do, however, make breakfast, from scratch, every single day. Not
that hard. Doesn’t take that long. Just about 15 minutes total. And in case you’re wondering, nope, I’m not a
millennial and I don’t have the, apparent, pressure on myself to NOT eat
breakfast until I magically discover something like Daily Harvest.
Sadly, with this
particular type of marketing, Daily Harvest reinforces what older generations
already know and experience from millennials:
Lazy, arrogant, entitled, pampered, coddled… yes, I’ll stop here because
it would be way too easy to
continue.
Hey, maybe Daily Harvest is
worth trying. Who knows?
