Sean Spicer, 3.OH! (Three Point OH!)

After White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, unceremoniously left the Trump Administration on July 21, 2017, there was Sarah Huckabee Sanders, or, Sean Spicer 2.0.  She took over as Press Secretary from July 26, 2017 until July 1, 2019.  Her going-away ceremony was a real live, tear-jerker.  Crocodile tears and all.  Sarah, to her credit, actually did implement several press briefings, before, well, gosh darn it, she just couldn't take the heat any longer.

White House Press Secretary No. 3 – Stephanie Grisham

Stephanie Grisham, as of March 2020, has yet to conduct an actual in-house (White House) press briefing.  Her preferred platform is that hard-hitting, news-heavy morning show on Fox, "Fox & Friends", with its limited, conservative, right-wing, Republican agenda and an audience of one -- President Trump.  (FYI, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth uttering those words!)  
Oh, others watch that pabulum, those in Trump's "base", but mostly, yeah, she's speaking directly to and for Him.  As of Thursday, March 11, 2020, it has been one full year since there was a White House Press briefing.  Wow, talk about yer "snowflakes"! Geez!
According to CNN, this is the real exchange that happened on "Fox & Friends" between host Ainsley Earhardt and White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham:

Earhardt: "Stephanie, when Bernie was on 'Meet The Press' over the weekend, Chuck Todd asked him if he was going to continue to be on the campaign trail because we keep hearing if you're around 80 years old you are susceptible (to the coronavirus), and he is 78 years old.  President Trump is 73.  Will he continue to have rallies and be out there on the campaign trail?"
Grisham: "He actually just addressed this.  Yes, he plans on still holding rallies.  And I'll tell you, what, with our President -- this man who doesn't sleep and who I have seen work 15-16 hours a day every day -- I have no problem thinking that he's going to be just find and just healthy."

Just so everyone is clear on this.  The press secretary of the United States was asked about a growing epidemic, a pandemic, and its potential impact of the President.  And he answer was this: "This man who doesn't sleep and who I have seen work 15 - 16 hours a day every day -- I have no problem thinking that he's going to be just fine and just healthy."

That's not the point!  That's not even close to the point!

Grisham's response is akin to being asked about whether you are worried about getting the flu and responding: "No, I lift a lot of weights and I am pretty jacked."

No, actually, it's worse than that, because what Grisham is touting -- that Trump works a lot and doesn't sleep -- are just the sort of things that make you more vulnerable to illness, not less so!  Lack of sleep is VERY clearly linked to lowered immune health.

Like Trump, the big orange one Herself, sorry, Himself, Stephanie is rather delicate around real reporters, and has a very challenging time answering anything more hard-hitting than, "So, Steph, what was for dinner last night?"

If it ain't mac & cheese, it ain't dinner, right?

I just noticed something, too, while finishing up this piece.  Maybe you caught it, too.  

All three Press Secretaries' first names start with "S". 

A prerequisite, perhaps? 

**Update - As of Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Stephanie Grisham is OUT as White House Press Secretary, returning to her previous role as assistant to First Lady, Melania Trump.  

Replacing Stephanie is hard-hitting, blonde Barbie wannabe Kayleigh McEnany.

At some point in there, he made a statement about, “… these tests are very complex. Very complex.”  Yes, so complex that people were able to have them administered at drive-thru emergency stations.  SO COMPLEX!

All of that while people, hundreds of people, who had contracted the novel coronavirus began to die. 

As of March 19, 2020, eleven thousand cases have been reported in the U.S., and more than 164 have died. 

As of March 26, 2020, 500,000 (that's half a million) people globally have been confirmed as having the coronavirus, and 82,000 confirmed here in the U.S.

3.3 million unemployment claims were filed last week , March 15 - 21, 2020.  

And this news headline just today (03/26/2020):
"Trump says he doesn't "know" what steps are being taken to stop hate crimes against Asian Americans"  
Excuse me, but, you're the President of the United States and "knowing" these things IS part of your job description, Donny.  Start asking more questions AND pay attention to the answers.

One million people are expected to contract the virus by June, if not sooner.  With the lack of test kits currently available, it's hard to know who is infected.

All of this from an animal sold at an open-air market in Wuhan, China in December  2019. 

Did it originate with that animal in China?  Or elsewhere?

We're still working on that part.  Hopefully we get an answer very soon.
